Newark to Retford - 37 & 38
“About your 37 & 38
- Service 37 runs every 2 hours from Newark via The Muskhams, Cromwell, Carlton Village, Sutton, Weston, Tuxford and East Markham to Retford.
- Service 38 runs on the opposite two hours from Newark via The Muskhams, A1 to Carlton Crossroads, Sutton, Crow Park Avenue, Grassthorpe, Normanton, Tuxford and East Markham to Retford.
- Combined, services 37 and 38 offer an hourly service on the common sections of route.
- Passengers travelling from Carlton Village and Cromwell (37) or Crow Park Avenue, Grassthorpe and Normanton (38) no longer need to change bus at North Muskham to travel to Newark. We now also offer journey opportunities from these villages to Retford.
- Through tickets are available to and from Newark Hospital and Hawtonville on service 77 – change of bus not usually required, please ask your driver for more details.
Services 37 & 38 are supported by Nottinghamshire County Council as part of the UK Government’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP).
Introducing myTrip…the new way to buy Day and Weekly tickets on your phone
From April 2025, you will be able to buy Daily Networker and Weekly Networker tickets on your mobile phone using the myTrip app, valid for one day or one week’s travel anywhere along the route of services 37, 38 and 77.
You will also be able to purchase the full range of Newark AllRounder tickets using the myTrip app, which are valid on most operators’ services around the Newark Town area, including services 37 & 38 between Newark and North Muskham (The Grange).
